Reserve a seat at the tea table at a new museum program

The  Greene County Historical Society will host a special tea party that includes a look at Victorian clothing Sunday, July 20, at 2 pm at the historical museum, 219 E. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson.

Because space is limited, reservations are required for the free event. Call 515-386-4408 to assure a seat at the tea table.

Dianne Piepel and Mikki Schwarzkopf of Jefferson will present a program on the Society’s Victorian apparel collection. Jacque Andrew, also of Jefferson, will share her family’s treasured napkin ring collection.

The formal tea will include scones and clotted cream, petit fours and other formal tea delicacies.
